Funeral services for Sherry S. Rushing, ofBrookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, at Antioch PrimitiveBaptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. BrookhavenFuneral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

    Mrs. Rushing, 67, died Oct. 31, 2011, at her home. She was born inTylertown on July 1, 1944, to Edward Ellis Spence and Molly StognerSpence.

    She was a housewife and a member of Antioch Primitive BaptistChurch.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; and son-in-law, JackCalloway.

    Survivors are her husband, James Rushing; son, Edward Rushing andwife, Melissa, of Brookhaven; daughters, LaNelle Womack andhusband, Mike, of Princeton, Texas, and Mary Elizabeth Calloway, ofBeaumont, Texas; brother, Harland Edward Spence and wife, Maureen,of Monticello; seven grandchildren, Monica Meza, Kristen Desha,Ashley Rushing, Jamie Rushing, Molly Foster, Chase Daniels and AnnaGrace Rushing; and three great-grandchildren, Brianna Meza,Brooklyn Honea and Braeden Honea.
