Authorities find missing woman

A Lincoln County woman has been found safeand unharmed by police after being reported missing about two weeksago.

    The family of Selina Lynn Hamilton, 34, lost contact with her aftershe left King’s Daughters Medical Center in late October.

    She was reported missing to the police on Nov. 2 and discoveredMonday, Nov. 14, said Brookhaven Police Chief Pap Henderson.

    “We got an anonymous call that she was on New Sight Road,”Henderson said.

    Henderson dispatched an officer to the reported location and foundHamilton.

    “She was at the house of her own free will,” Henderson said.

    Henderson said the woman has been moving about under her own willthroughout the time she was believed missing. She simply did notkeep in contact with her family.

    “She was staying with a friend,” said Chris Hamilton, SelinaHamilton’s brother.

    According to Chris Hamilton, Selina Hamilton is originally fromHazlehurst but currently resides in Brookhaven.

    Hamilton said the family is greatly relieved to know his sister’slocation.
