Funeral services for Charles William AcySr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, at BrookhavenFuneral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in Union Baptist ChurchCemetery in Brookhaven. The Rev. Billy Joe Deer will beofficiating.

    Visitation is Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

    Mr. Acy, 81, died Nov. 21, 2011, at his home. He was born inLeflore County on Nov. 6, 1930, to Jessie Rye Acy and Docia MaeRobinson Acy.

    He was a retired logger in the logging industry and was of theBaptist faith.

    Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, N.A. Acy,Bud Acy and Frank Acy.

    Survivors are his wife, Johnnie M. Acy, of Brookhaven; daughters,Kathy King and husband, Donnie, Sherry Adams and husband, Bill,Tina Marble and husband, Kenneth, Tammy Vinson and husband, Frank,all of Brookhaven, and Sara Owen and husband, Bill, of Brandon;son, Chet Acy and wife, Jessie, of Brookhaven; brothers, J.J. Acy,of Houston, O.F. Acy, of Pensacola, Fla., and Pete Acy, of Utica;18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
