Funeral services for Mikell Damon Hall, ofBrookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Mt. Zion BaptistChurch, with burial in the church cemetery. Stringer Family FuneralServices in Hazlehurst is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mr. Hall, 23, died Dec. 2, 2011, at USA Burn Center in Mobile. Hewas born on Sept. 13, 1988.

    He was a native of Wesson and had lived in Colorado, Ohio, Wessonand Brookhaven. He was a sophomore at Copiah-Lincoln CommunityCollege and worked as a receiving clerk for Wal-Mart DistributionCenter in Brookhaven. Mikell loved his ’68 Cadillac and his ’79Corvette. He also loved to draw video game characters. He was amember of Harmony Baptist Church.

    Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, D.B. andNancy Watson; paternal grandfather, Allen Hall; uncles, DamonWatson, Charles David Watson, Wayne Hall and Alton Hall; and aunt,Mimi Stegall.

    Survivors are his wife, Courtney Costilow Hall; parents, Don andLorraine Hall, of Wesson; son, Gauge Shoop, of Wesson; sisters,Leighia Grayson and husband, Nathan, of Brookhaven, and April Smithand husband, Josh, of Wesson; nephews and nieces, Branden Canny,Taylor Berch, Colton Smith, Eli Grayson and Charleigh Smith;maternal grandmother, Maxie Case; numerous aunts and uncles; andsister-in-law, Micayla Costilow.

    Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital inJackson.
