Funeral services for Bernice Walker,of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service, with burial in Macedonia Baptist ChurchCemetery.

 

    Visitation is Thursday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Walker, 89, died Dec. 7, 2011, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter. She was born in Mississippi on April 8, 1922, to Clarenceand Nettie Allen Walker.

    She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Ivy Smith andVirgie Arnold; and half-brothers, Elkin Case and Elmer Case.

    Survivors are her son, Donnie Lassetter; half-brothers, Delton Caseand Emmerson Case; and two grandchildren.
