Funeral services for Harold J. Brown, ofBrookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, at Easthaven BaptistChurch in Brookhaven, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.

    Mr. Brown, 71, died Dec. 8, 2011, at his home. He was born inMississippi on Nov. 18, 1940, to Garvin and Eloise LambertBrown.

    He was a retired engineer for AT&T and a member of EasthavenBaptist Church. He was also in the army.

    Preceding him in death were his parents.

    Survivors are his wife, Sherrie Brown; son, Stephen Brown and wife,Kayla, of Brookhaven; daughters, Gwen Boutwell and husband,Kendall, of Brookhaven, and Jennifer Day and husband, Keith, ofSlaughter, La.; brother, Donald Gene Brown, of Russellville, Ala.;eight grandchildren, including Matthew and Nathan Day, Casen Brownand Selah Boutwell; and four great-grandchildren.

    Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House.
