Funeral services for Joan Hux Myers, ofMcComb, are 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, at Hartman-Sharkey FuneralHome, with burial in Hollywood Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Alexanderwill be officiating.

    Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Monday from noon until2 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Myers, 62, died Dec. 10, 2011, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in on June 3, 1949,to Marvin C. and Myrtle Walker Hux.

    She was a very loving mother, grandmother and friend. She lovedanimals, especially her dog Muffin, the love of her life. Herfamily said she was a Proud Republican and loved the outdoors; shelived much of her life on the river.

    Preceding her in death were her parents.

    Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, The Rev. Lee Myers andTammi, of Benton, La.; four grandchildren, Jeff Myers, Bryce Myers,Beth Myers and Max Myers; sister, Carolyn Morgan, of Wesson;nieces, Tami Morgan, of Crystal Springs, and Kim Thompson, ofHazlehurst; nephew, Brad Morgan, of Wesson; and numerous otherrelatives and friends.

    Pallbearers will be Kyle Hux, Brad Morgan, Jason Frazior, Timothy”Bubba” Thompson, Sidney “Tuffy” Thompson and Dana Walker.
