Three Lady Wolves receive soccer postseason honors

      WESSON – Three members of theCopiah-Lincoln Community College Lady Wolves soccer team haveearned post-season honors. For the second consecutive year,Elizabeth Cudjoe has been named National Junior College AthleticAssociation (NJCAA) All-Region 23. Nikki Marbury and ShakendriaWilliams have been named Mississippi Association of Community andJunior Colleges (MACJC) All-State.

    Cudjoe, a sophomore from Ghana, scored 8 goals and had 1 assistfor  points in only 6matches this season. Cudjoe is repeat All-Region selection and is a member of Ghana’sFIFA U20 Women’s World Cup team.

    Marbury, sophomore from Florence, scored 7 goals, had 3 assists for17 points this season for the Lady Wolves.  She is a repeat selection to theAll-State team.

    Williams, a sophomore goalkeeper from Crystal Springs had 111 savesin all 15 matches.

    The Lady Wolves, coached by Trey Woodham, finished the season witha 4-11 record.
