Funeral services for Sam Joseph Damico, ofBrookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, at St. Francis ofAssisi Church, with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Brookhaven FuneralHome is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.

    Mr. Damico, 91, died Jan. 2, 2012, at his home. He was born inBrookhaven on Nov. 27, 1920, to Joseph and Salvia CarnagioDamico.

    He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. He was a formerowner and operator of a television and satellite repair shop. Mr.Damico was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S.Army.

    Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Joe, Charlie,Frank, Tony and Nick Damico and an infant brother; and sister,Salva Damico.

    Survivors are his brothers, Vincent Damico, of Brookhaven, and JohnDamico, of Brookhaven; several nieces and nephews, includingTheresa Thompson; great nieces, Angela Smith and Lisa Thompson; andgreat-great-niece and nephew, Justin Smith and Anna MorganSmith.

    Pallbearers will be Jeremy Smith, Justin Scott Smith, Justin KentSmith, Jimmy Smith, Mac Damico and Dennis Damico.
