Memorial services for Fredrick Dixon, ofBrookhaven, are 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at Willie Mae TylerMemorial Chapel. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

    Mr. Dixon, 36, died Jan. 8, 2012, at The University of MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Jackson on Sept. 6, 1975,to proud parents Ellis “Ed” Dunnigan and Annie Laura DixonPhillips. He was the third of four children.

    Preceding him in death were his father, Ed Dunnigan; maternalgrandfather, Lonnie B. Dixon; paternal grandparents, John and InezDunnigan; and uncles Robert Brown and John Dunnigan Jr.

    Survivors are his mother, Annie L. Phillips and stepfather, EugenePhillips, of Brookhaven; daughter, Kyaha Dixon, of Jackson;faithful and beloved fiancé, Katina Henderson, of Brookhaven, andher son, KaReco and her daughter, KaDarra; his sister, Aisha Dixon,of Chicago; brothers, Edrick Dixon, of Coleman, Fla., and LatronDixon, of Brookhaven; nephews, Orieun Arnold, Christopher Dixon andDatavion Smith; nieces, Nabria and Raven Smith, Danielle Brown,Pamela Byrd and Kayla Dixon, all of Brookhaven; grandmother, LessieRee Dixon, of Brookhaven; aunts, Mary Washington, Chantay Evans,Lamease Lenoir, Gevail Demyers, Barbara Stewart and husband,Malcolm, Sandra Bowman and husband, Jesse, Jeanette Townsend andhusband, John, Allee Robinson and husband, Robert Earl, MonicaJefferson, Jacqueline Harris and husband, Kenneth, all ofBrookhaven; uncles, Pat Dunnigan and Billy Ray Wilson, both ofBrookhaven, and Renardo Dixon, of Houston; and a host of cousinsand close friends.
