Funeral services for Catheryn RutlandMathas, of Ruth, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, at WilsonFuneral Home in Monticello, with burial in Roberts MemorialCemetery.

    Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Mathas, 49, died Jan. 15, 2012, at her home. She was born inTexas on July 25, 1962.

    She was a schoolteacher for West Marion Elementary School inFoxworth.

    Preceding her in death was her father, Clifford Rutland.

    Survivors are her husband, George E. Mathas; mother, Betty FassyRutland, of Austin, Texas; daughter, Catheryn Nicole “Nikki”Accardo and husband, Ian, of Brookhaven; son, Rocky Glenn Reid andwife, Dawn, of Jayess; brothers, Cliff Rutland, Larry Rutland,Mitch Rutland and Bear Barden; sisters, Jeanean Young, MichelleRutland and Stormy Barden; stepdaughter, Kacey Mathas, of Ruth;stepson, Ky Mathas, of Ruth; and grandchildren, Jade Nicole Reid,Karli Rayne Reynolds, Jayde Elizabeth Accardo, Reagan KinsleyAccardo, Rocky Glenn Reid Jr., Adia Dawn Reid, Braxton Haze Reidand Bella Brees Reid.
