Funeral services for Ernestine Davis Conn,of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service, with burial in Ruth Cemetery in Ruth.

    Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Conn, 74, died Feb. 8, 2012, at her home. She was born inMississippi on Nov. 27, 1933, to William Ernest Delaughter and IvyLucille Blackwell.

    She was a homemaker and attended Union Baptist Church. She receivedthe American Legion Award and was a member of Ruth CemeteryCommittee.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, James EarlDavis, father of her children, and Eugene “Sonny” Conn; daughters,Anita Davis Clark and Tammy Davis Bradford; granddaughter, “Angel”Clark; and great-granddaughter, “Angel” Bradford.

    Survivors are her son, Jimmy Earl Davis; stepsons, Danny, Jack andTab Conn; sisters, Evelyn Faye Holmes, Bettye Sue Berry and WandaGaye Brewer; five grandchildren, Joshua Adam Davis and wife, Angie,Lacy Anita Davis Gunnell and husband, Josh, Kacy Lane Davis andfiancé, Chris Fuller, Kendrick Lee Bradford and wife, Trish, andWilliam Cody Bradford; four great-grandchildren, Belle and EllieDavis, Melissa Bradford and Eliza Jane Gunnell; severalstep-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and longtime friend andcompanion, Edgar Smith.
