Funeral services for Jeffrey Jay Bowlin, ofAddis, La., are 2:30 on Saturday, Feb. 18, at Brown Funeral Home inGloster, with burial in Zion Hill Cemetery near Liberty. The Rev.Greg Beaty will be officiating.

    Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1:30until 2:30 p.m., both at the funeral home.

    Mr. Bowlin died Feb. 15, 2012, at Our Lady of The Lake RegionalMedical Center in Baton Rouge, La. He was born on June 8, 1961.

    He was a former manager of the power plant in Ponca City, Okla. Hegraduated from Brazoswood High School in Clute, Texas. Mr. Bowlinwas a U.S. Army veteran.

    Preceding him in death were his father, Elwood Bowlin; paternalgrandparents, Homer and Ruby Bowlin; and maternal grandparentsGorden and Pauline Cain.

    Survivors are his daughter, Jalyn Bowlin, of Tearland, Texas;grandson, Maddox Lee, of Tearland, Texas; mother Patricia Ann CainFournet, of Addis, La.; sister and brother-in-law, Stacy and ZaneBaggett, of Richwood, Texas; nephews, Jonathan and wife, Tonia, ofAngleton, Texas, and Jeffrey Baggett, of Richwood, Texas; niece,Jamie Baggett, of Richwood, Texas; and numerous uncles, aunts,cousins and friends.
