Funeral services for Luther McGowan Jr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Salem M.B. Church in Jayess, with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Friday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.

     Mr. McGowan, 75, died Feb. 19, 2012, at Countrybrook Living Center. He was born in Lawrence County on Oct. 10, 1936.
