Jason Jones of Brookhaven and Jalesa Harris of Jayess announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

She is the daughter of Larry and Jannice Harris of Jayess. She is the granddaughter of Eric Pittman Sr. and the late Mildred Pittman and Prentiss Sr. and Elthelean Harris.

He is the son of the late Helen Jones and the late Ellis Dave of Chatman and Brookhaven. He is the grandson of Virgie Mae Clark and George Clark Sr.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Tylertown High School and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College from 2007 to 2009. She is employed with McDonald’s.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Brookhaven High School. He attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College from 2004 to 2006. He is employed with Casco.

The couple will exchange vows on March 10, 2012, at 5 p.m. at the Lincoln Civic Center in Brookhaven. A reception will follow the ceremony at the civic center.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
