Darrin and Joanie Rushing of Brookhaven announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kayla Beth Rushing, to Joshua Ray Reno of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Nancy Reno and the late Jerry Reno, of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of Laura White, the late Hollis White, Marlene Rushing and the late Allen Rushing, all of Brookhaven, and Thelma Vicknair of Amite, La.

He is the grandson of the late Gladus and Bay Reno of Birmingham, Ala.

The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center. She attended Harding University. She is employed with Engravables.

The prospective groom is a 2010 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center. He attended Mississippi State University. He is employed with Home Depot and is a member of the Mississippi National Guard.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Johnson Grove Church of Christ. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the church fellowship hall.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
