Funeral services for Tommy Revis Burns, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m. on Monday, March 26, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.

     Mr. Burns, 73, died March 23, 2012, in Brookhaven. He was born in Mississippi on July 23, 1938, to Tom R. and Daisy Summers Burns.

     He was a fishing tool supervisor and salesman for the oil field. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army.

     Preceding him in death were his parents; and brother, George Wayne Burns.

     Survivors are his sister, Joan B. Moak and husband, Bobby E. Moak, of Bogue Chitto; and a number of aunts and cousins.
