Funeral services for Francis A. Case, of Natchez, were 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, at St. Mary Basilica, with burial in Natchez City Cemetery. Father David O’Connor officiated. Laird Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

     Mr. Case, 71, died March 24, 2012, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Brookhaven on March 19, 1941, to William Harrison Case Sr. and Mary Ellen Alyward Case.

     He was retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company. He was a member of St. Mary Basilica.

     Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Patsy Oliver Case; one son, Brian P. Case; two brothers, Bill and Chris Case; and a son-in-law, Vincent Mullins Jr.

     Survivors are his daughters, Shannon Lofton and husband, David, of Natchez, and Sheila Mullins, of Youngsville, La.; five grandchildren, Caitlin and Hannah Lofton, of Natchez, Sara and Josh Mullins and Jenny Case, all of Youngsville, La.; sisters, Linda Case Peaster and husband, Tommy, of Flora, Jennifer Case Munson and husband, Keith, of Ponchatoula, La., and Mary Jane Case Oglesby and husband, Ron of Lakeland, Fla.; brother, Mile J. Case and wife, Cynthia, of Philadelphia; and a number of other relatives.

     Pallbeares were David Lofton Jr., Josh Mullins, Bill Ashley, Alton McGehee, Tim Case, Scott Munson, Scott Nugent and Mike J. Case.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Basilica Family Life Center, 107 South Union Street, Natchez, MS 39120.
