Funeral services for John Henry Clark, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Friday, March 30, at Siloam M.B. Church, with burial in the church cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Thursday from noon until 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with the family present from 6 until 7.

     Mr. Clark, 63, died March 23, 2012, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. He was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 7, 1948, to George Clark Sr. and Virgie Mae Kelly Clark.

     He was a 1966 graduate of Eva H. Harris High School and worked for Georgia Pacific as a paper mill wet end operator. Mr. Clark served in the U.S. Army.

     Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Helen M. Jones; and one nephew, Derrick E. Clark.

     Survivors are his son, Corey Jermaine Clark Sr., of Springfield, Mass.; daughter, Tiffany Newsome and husband, Ricky, of Atlanta; brothers, George Clark Jr., Jerry Clark and George Newman, all of Brookhaven; sisters, Emma Oliver, Lee Eunice Lyons, both of Brookhaven, and Kim McGhee, of McComb; one grandson, Corey J. Clark Jr., of Springfield, Mass; and one devoted friend, Eula Brown, of Champagne, Ill.
