The FFA program at Loyd Star Attendance Center has definitely caused a change to the school’s campus. From goats on campus to the chicken coup that has provided fresh eggs to teachers and students, the changes are not going unnoticed. This year the FFA will host their first banquet to celebrate the students’ achievements and hard work throughout this school year, with guest speaker Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Cindy Hyde-Smith. The banquet will take place Thursday, April 24^th at 7:00 pm in the school’s cafetorium. Tickets for the event are $10.00 and are on sale until April the 19^th. There will be a dinner consisting of brisket, salad, green beans, potatoes, and desserts. Members of the community are encouraged to attend.
