Ricky and Annie Case of Brookhaven announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katherine Marie Case, to John Watkins Dent of Lorman.

He is the son of Mike and Elaine Dent of Lorman. He is the grandson of Thelma and Tommy Beard of Ocean Springs, the late P.M. Watkins, the late Evelyn Watkins and the late Warren B. Dent, all of Port Gibson.

She is the granddaughter of John Thomas and Helen Roberts of Bogue Chitto and the late Jessie Lee and the late Katherine Case of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center. She received an associate degree in business administration from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She also attended the University of Southern Mississippi.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Adams County Christian School. He received an associate degree in biological sciences from Copiah-Lincoln Community College and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is employed with AT&T as a premises technician.

The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Saint Mary Chapel in Natchez. Immediately following the ceremony a reception will be held at Duncan Park in Natchez.
