Funeral services for Wilena H. Wroten, of McCall Creek, are 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, at Damascus Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.

     Mrs. Wroten, 86, died April 10, 2012, at Crown Health Care in Natchez. She was born in Franklin County on Nov. 19, 1925.

     Preceding her in death were her husband, Samuel E. Wroten; son, Samuel Mitchell Wroten; sister, Ottice Mae Tinsley; and brother, J.C. Huffman.

     Survivors are her daughters, Opal Bowlin and husband, Joe, of McCall Creek, and Charlotte Griffin and husband, Butch, of McCall Creek; daughter-in-law, Sybil Wroten Patrick; seven grandchildren, Tabitha Wroten, Keith Bowlin, Jamie Bowlin, Dusty Wroten, Karla Wroten, Clay Griffin and Clint Griffin; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

     Pallbearers will be Dusty Wroten, Clint Griffin, Clay Griffin, Christian Wroten, Keith Bowlin and Jamie Bowlin. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Tinsley and Bert Smith.
