Funeral services for Dorothy Nellene Smith Price, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, at Johnson Grove Church of Christ, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Sunday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.

     Mrs. Price, 83, died April 18, 2012, at Silver Cross Home. She was born in Mississippi on Feb. 28, 1929, to Carlos B. and Vivian Kathleen Laird Smith.

     She was a homemaker and member of Johnson Grove Church of Christ.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James Lee Price; and granddaughter-in-law, Kasey Herring.

     Survivors are her son, Ricky Price and wife, Diane; daughter, Gail Herring; sister, Jo Ann Smith; six grandchildren, Jim Herring, Brock Herring and wife, Lori, Greg Herring, David Price and wife, Sandy, Lane Price and Shane Price; 10 great-grandchildren; and her extended family, the nurses and aides of Silver Cross Home.

     Memorials may be made to Berean Children’s Home in Brookhaven.
