Funeral services for Maurice Thompson, of Purvis, are 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, with burial in Coaltown Cemetery.

     Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Thompson, 94, died May 8, 2012, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. She was born in Boaz, Ala. on May 2, 1918.

     She was the former co-owner of City Cleaners, of Purvis, and a member of First Baptist Church of Purvis.

     Preceding her in death was her husband, James A. Thompson.

     Survivors are her son, Jimmy Thompson, of Grapevine, Texas; daughter, Ann Eubanks, of Brookhaven; brother, Lowell Stephens, of Clinton; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
