Funeral services for Dempsey Wallace, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. on Friday, May 25, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ronny Robinson will officiate.

     Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Wallace, 73, died May 23, 2012, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on May 8, 1939, to Percy Quin and Hardie Winborne Wallace.

     He was a retired journeyman electrician and longtime member of I.B.E.W. (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local #480. He was of the Baptist faith and a Mason. He was a lifelong farmer, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time with family.

     Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Mary Alice Smith Wallace; and brother, Harry Truman Wallace.

     Survivors are his daughters Andrea W. Case and husband Aubrey Case Jr., of Anahuac, Texas, Robin W. Borrows and husband, Ian Borrows, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Beth W. Jordan and husband, Jody Jordan, of Lake; brother, Dan Wallace and wife Gail Wallace, of Bogue Chitto; sisters, Omega W. Varnado and husband, L.A. Jr., of Mesquite, Texas, and Elizabeth W. Smith, of Brookhaven; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Case Kelly and husband, Jason Kelly, Timothy Alan Case and wife, Kelsey Lee Case, Jason Wallace Case, Robert Anthony Webb and wife, Karen Moak Webb, Quinn Webb Davis and husband Stephen Davis, Mary Coleen Webb and Larkin Elliot Webb; eight great-grandchildren, Rosalyn, Caroline and Elaina Kelly, Carter Case, Addy and Isaiah Davis, and Jordyn and Wallace Webb; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

     Pallbearers will be Timothy Alan Case, Jason Wallace Case, Robert Anthony Webb, Larkin Elliot Webb, Jason Kelly and Stephen Davis.
