Maxie Cupstid

Maxie Cupstid, 85, died June 2, 2012, at Regency Medical at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Mississippi on March 5, 1927, to Benjamin Ealy and Pallie Lambert Cupstid.
He was a superintendent in the oil field and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Cupstid served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a host of brothers and sisters; and a grandson.
Survivors are his sons, Richard Lee Dunn Jr. and Dana Paul Dunn; daughters, Heidi Cupstid Smith, Shanne Cupstid and Donelle Kay Case; brother, Emmitt L. Cupstid; sister, Nell Lambert; ex-wife, Susan Cupstid; 10 grandchildren, Aaron, Kenzie, Kadie and Aaden Smith, Lacey Smith, Dale Laurich, Joshua and Tyler Dunn, Misty Dunn Grayson and Mandy Dunn Roberts; and 10 great-grandchildren.
