She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for years at Phillips Brothers Lumber Co. and a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.

She loved to work in her yard and to see the beautiful flowers that God had given her.

She often talked about seeing for the first time, a motorized horseless carriage, putt putt down a dirt road when she was a child in Alexandria, La. And how things progressed over the years to cars, electric lights instead of coal oil lamps, to air conditioning, to TV’s. She enjoyed seeing the young people and their families get together at Thanksgiving and enjoy themselves.

Preceding her death were her parents; and husband, Lester Flynn, infant daughter Rebecca Mary, of Memphis; grandson, Brad Williams of Brookhaven; and great-grandson, Joshua Carter of Slidell, La.

Survivors are her daughters, Joanie Cason and husband Charles; Marilyn Green and husband Edd; Margaret Anne Laine and husband Jules; Pat Williams and husband Gerald; and son, Kevin Flynn; 12 grandchildren, Greg Cason, Tommy Cason, Kathy Carter, Pam Roberts, Paula Holland, David Green, Diann Dyle, Keith Green, Steve Laine, Leslie Vivien, Ben Williams, Brian Flynn, Seth Flynn; and 17 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews in Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas.

She was dearly loved as a Mother-in-Law.

Memorials can be made to the St. Francis Catholic Church, 227 E. Cherokee, Brookhaven, MS 39601.
