Funeral services for Mildred Rushing McCaffrey, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m. on Friday, June 22, at Calvary Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. McCaffrey, 81, died June 20, 2012, at Silver Cross Home. She was born in Mississippi on Sept. 15, 1930, to Eugene and Stella Mae Rushing.

     She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Russell “Ham” McCaffrey; grandchild, Mary Ann Reeves; sisters, Thelma R. Anderson, Eloise R. Stanley and Hazel Rushing; and brothers, Troy Rushing, Bobby Joe Rushing, Charlie Rushing, Williams Rushing and Eugene Rushing Jr.

     Survivors are her sons, Larry “Pete” McCaffrey and wife, Bobbie, Calvin M. McCaffrey and wife, Sharon, and Jerry J. McCaffrey and wife, Amanda; daughters, Carolyn M. Hutchinson and husband, Robert, and Sue M. Reeves and husband, Wayne; brother, Roy Rushing and wife, Gail; sister, Helen R. Barlow and husband, Dudley; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
