Funeral services for Kay Wright Posey, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Bogue Chitto Cemetery.

     Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Posey, 67, died June 22, 2012, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born in Mississippi on Aug. 1, 1944, to T.J. and Geraldine Wright.

     She was the owner and operator of Posey’s Body Shop and Upholstery. She was of the Christian faith.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Sheriff James Posey; and granddaughter, Demi Posey.

     Survivors are James M. (Mike) Posey and wife, Dena, Melissa Posey, and Curtis E. (Junior) Maness Jr.; sister, Gloria Wright Frost; special niece, JoAnn Waycaster; special friends, Donna Thomae and Ronnie and Vickie Ezell; and seven grandchildren, Ty and Megan Posey, Mary E. Posey, Sam Posey, Kylee Posey, Annamarie Posey and Trey Maness.
