Funeral services for Donis H. Lambert, of Silver Creek, were 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, with burial in Bethshan Cemetery.

     Mrs. Lambert, 92, died June 25, 2012, at Lawrence County Nursing Center. She was born July 29, 1920, to Miles O. and Nora Rebecca Lambert Hill.

     She was the owner of Don’s casuals, an avid quilter and painter. She was also a secretary and did abstract work.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, N.S. Lambert; brothers, Gene Hill and Conley Hill; and sister, Bonnie Ruth Hearn.

     Survivors are her son, Wendell Lambert and wife, Sandra, of Monticello, daughters, Sue Lambert, of Monticello, and Lou Lambert, of Monticello, and son, Vince Lambert, of Monticello; sisters, Opal Leggett, of Brookhaven, and Zelda Davis, of Monticello; sister-in-law, Noma Lee Hill, of Monticello; and numerous nephews and nieces.
