Funeral services for Clara Nell Price Johnson, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, at Moak’s Creek Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Jones Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church.

     Mrs. Johnson, 91, died June 28, 2012, at her home. She was born in Franklin County on Feb. 3, 1921, to Willie Thomas Murph Price and Clara Bell Boyt Price.

     She attended Bogue Chitto High School. She retired from Kellwood Co. as a Re-Cut after 30 years. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Lincoln Chorale Singers and a faithful member of Moak’s Creek Baptist Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Judson Johnson; five brothers; and one sister.

     Survivors are her sons, Edwin D. Johnson and wife, Betty, of Bogue Chitto, and Denver L. Johnson and wife, Patricia, of McComb; brother, Billy Joe Price and wife, Mazell, of Bogue Chitto; sister-in-law, Ruby Price, of Huntsville; two grandchildren, Denny Johnson and wife, Brandy, of Summit, and Dana White and husband, Allen, of Madison; two step-grandchildren, Shannon Stevens and husband, Dwayne, and Micheal Barron, of Tylertown; 11 great-grandchildren; and special caregiver, Beverly Smith, of Summit.
