Funeral services for David P. Sirkel, of Bogue Chitto, are 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Cold Springs Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

     Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Sirkel, 84, died July 10, 2012, at Countrybrook Living Center. He was born in Tennessee on Sept. 6, 1927, to Thomas R. and Eunice Armstrong Sirkel.

     He was a retired dozer operator.

     Preceding him in death were her parents; brothers, Rufus Sirkel, Richard Sirkel and Alford Sirkel; and sons, Alford Sirkel and Julian Sirkel.

     Survivors are his sons, Stephen Sirkel and David Sirkel and wife, Michelle; daughters, Louise Thomas, Barbara Gregg and husband, Mike, Brenda Maynard and husband, Larry, Sheila Sirkel, Cheryl Anderson and husband, Doug, and Amy Anderson; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
