Funeral services for Tinney Lee Parker, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, at St. James M.B. Church, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Parker, 68, died Aug. 1, 2012, in Byram. She was born in Copiah County on Oct. 1, 1943, to Melvin and Ola Mae Pendleton Young.
She was a nurse and beautician for many years in the Brookhaven area.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and two siblings, Theotis Young and Melvin Young.
Survivors are her three loving and devoted children, Louis Parker and wife, Julia, of Brookhaven, Meshell Williams and husband, Odis, of Byram, and Kenya Parker, of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Agnes Smith, of Hazlehurst, and Rosie Bean of Lansing, Mich.; brother, James Young, of Detroit; three grandchildren, Louis Xavier Parker, Julian Curtis Parker, both of Brookhaven, and Alexandria Alexis Williams, of Byram; special cousin, Theresa Childs; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
