Memorial services for Mildred Inez Tillman Jones, of Summit, are 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9, at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Jones Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.

     Mrs. Jones, 73, died Aug. 7, 2012, at her home. She was born in Brookhaven on Dec. 2, 1938, to Clifford and Maude Foster Tillman.

     She worked for Kellwood and Sanderson Farms. She loved cross-stitching and making divinity at Christmas time. Mrs. Jones loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved sitting on the front porch. She was a longtime member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Hollis Tillman; and two sisters, Charlene Smith and Jane Smith.

     Survivors are her husband of 54 years, Ronald Dale Jones; son, David Jones and wife, Raqual, of Summit; daughters, Veronica “Ronnie Lynn” Haraughty and fiancée Norman Jones Jr., of Meadville, and Cindy Darleen Felder and husband, Charles, of Pearl; seven grandchildren, Micki Jo Deer and husband, Kevin, of McComb, Kimberly Lynn Hutson and husband, Mark, of Summit, Drew Haraughty, of Summit, Kristin Felder, of Pearl, Will Jones, of Summit, Joan-Quilla Jones of Summit, and Jaycie Felder, of Pearl; and four great-grandchildren, Bryce Hutson, Brynn Hutson, Payton Elise Deer and Dakotta Reneah Haraughty.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church, 4056 Shady Grove Road, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629.
