Funeral services for Geraldine Thadison Singh, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, at Siloam M.B. Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Singh, 50, died Aug. 13, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 22, 1961.

     She was a graduate of Loyd Star High School and employed by Kellwood, Potters, Happy-Go-Food Mart and the C-Store. Mrs. Singh enjoyed reading, cooking and being a caregiver to all of her family members.

     Preceding her in death was her father, James Thadison Sr.

     Survivors are her husband, Avtar Singh; mother, Rosie Kelly Thadison, of Brookhaven; daughters, Tamesha Thadison Washington and husband, Teddyrecius, of Brookhaven, and Angela Franklin and husband, Solomon, of Monroe, La.; two grandchildren, Tydaisha Washington and Teddyrecius Washington II, both of Brookhaven; sisters, Christine Price and husband, Roosevelt, of Loyd Star, Dorothy Black and husband, Charles, of Brookhaven, and Mary Ann Thadison-Nelson, of Loyd Star; brothers, J.D. Thadison and wife, Rosetta, of Loyd Star, R.D. Thadison, of Loyd Star, and James Thadison Jr., of Brookhaven; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
