Funeral services for Ella Johnson Hall, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2, at Gum Grove Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Hall, 94, died Aug. 29, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born on March 4, 1918, to William Henry and Evie Smith Johnson.

     She was retired from Stahl-Urban Manufacturing Company.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Maxie E. Hall; two sisters, Clara Smith and Palmae Ainsworth; and two brothers, Henry Irvin Johnson and Floyd Johnson.

     Survivors are her sons, Phil Hall and wife, Cindy, of Brookhaven, and Bradley Hall and wife, Terrie, of Brookhaven; brother, Cephus Johnson; seven grandchildren, Wade Hall, Misty Newman and husband, Billy, Katie Hall, Ashley Hall, Brooks Hall, Lindsey Hall and Todd Hall and wife, Jennifer; six great-grandchildren, Mason Hall, Bailey Hall, Skylar Hall, Ramsey Hall, Elaina Newman and Mylane Newman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
