Funeral services for Freddie Jean Boyd, of Monticello, are 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, at Powell’s Grove Pentecostal Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the church.

     Mr. Boyd, 79, died Sept. 11, 2012, at Lawrence County Nursing Center. He was born on Nov. 3, 1932.
