Funeral services for Malcolm Tony Nettles, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

     Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Nettles, 54, died Oct. 2, 2012, at his home. He was born on Oct. 24, 1958.

     He was a painter/welder and a member of Gum Grove Baptist Church.

     Preceding him in death were his brother, James Rayford Nettles Jr.; and grandparents, Martin and Floy Johnson and Harvey and Mary Nettles.

     Survivors are his parents James Rayford and Joyce Johnson Nettles; stepdaughter, Summer Nichole Lamb; brother, Eric Ray Nettles and wife, Twanna; nephew, Kevin Nettles; and niece, Renee Nettles.
