Ira Katherine “Dyanne” Cowart, 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at her home while surrounded by her family.

     Visitation will be at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church on Monday, Oct. 22 from 5 p.m. until and on Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m.

     Second only to her love for Christ was her devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Ray Cowart; her daughters, Denise Alexander and Bridget Castells; her step-daughter, Marsha Linton; her stepson, Johnny Cowart; a brother, J.D. Cauley; two sisters, Wanda Jones and Linda England; her two grandchildren, Jake and Emily Alexander; four step-grandchildren, Jessica Cowart, Tyler Cowart, Alyssa Linton and Ryan Linton; and her nieces, Tami Flaum, Rachael Welther and Mickie Murray.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ira “J.I.” and Willhelaree “B” Cauley, as well as two sisters, Barbara Cauley and Bertie Cauley.

     Dyanne was an avid gardener of flowers and vegetables. She loved animals, music and cooking, and baking for those she loved most.
