Memorial services for Angeline Smith Roberson, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, at Bethel A.M.E. Church. The Rev. Andrew Stamps will officiate. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Mrs. Roberson, 75, died Nov. 3, 2012, at her home. She was born in Brookhaven on June 24, 1937, to James Swinney Smith and Elease Edwards Smith.

     She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, where she served as stewardess and trustee. She was a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., AARP, TRIAD and Jolly Saints. Mrs. Roberson was a graduate of Alexander High School, Alcorn State University and the University of Illinois.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; and son, David Roberson.

     Survivors are her sisters, Lena Pope and Edna Mae Smith, both of Brookhaven, and Charlene Carlos, of Palm Springs, Calif.; brothers, James Swinney Smith Jr., of Ocean Springs, John W.B. Smith, of St. Louis, Mo., and Robert Lee Smith, of Pass Christian; two granddaughters, Elease and Lauren Roberson, of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
