Funeral services for Ginger LaFaye “Granny Faye” Smith, of Denham Springs, La., are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in New Sight Cemetery.

     Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Smith ended her journey here on earth Nov. 12, 2012, at her home.

     She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her and would not want to be grieved over because she is in her new home, heaven, with her husband, Delton Smith, and her family and friends who have been waiting for her. What a day of rejoicing because now she can remember all those who love her.

     Preceding her in death were her husband; parents, Albert and Ruthie Foster Smith; and brother, Larry Smith.

     Survivors are her son, Brian Smith, of Brookhaven; daughters, LaWanda Smith Tinsley, of Denham Springs, La., and Marcia Smith Beassie, of Brookhaven; sisters, Dolores Smith, of Bogue Chitto, and Wilma Jean Smith Grimes, of Dallas; six grandchildren, Leigha Cline Huff, Casey Cline, Micah Beassie, Mac Beassie, Corey Smith and Brittany Smith Zumbro; and seven great-grandchildren.
