Funeral services for Mary Sumrall Clark, of Lincoln County, were 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Ruth Baptist Church, with burial in Ruth Cemetery. Bro. Jared Busby and Bro. Damon Williamson officiated. Catchings Funeral Home in McComb was in charge of arrangements.

     Mrs. Clark, 80, died Nov. 8, 2012, at her home in the presence of her loving family. She was born in Lawrence County on Dec. 22, 1931, to J.B. and Obie Ann Caves Sumrall.

     She was a member of Ruth Baptist Church and a retired seamstress from Kellwood Industries. Mrs. Clark was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Claude Clark Sr.; son, Claude Clark Jr.; grandchildren, Dwayne Dunaway Jr. and Gary Smith; son-in-law, Buster Lofton; sister, Obie Pittman; and special cousin, Fred Boyd.

     Survivors are her son, Richard Clark, of Ruth; daughters, Gwen Clark Dunaway and husband, Dwayne, of Monticello, Pat Clark Lofton, of Bogue Chitto, and Darlene Clark Trott and husband, Walter, of Ruth; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
