Funeral services for Mary Lou King, of Brookhaven, are 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

     Visitation was Thursday from 1 until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. King, 67, died, at The Blake Memory Care, Ridgeland. She was born on December 12, 1944 to Nathan and Willie Ruth Jones.

     Mrs. King was a graduate of Delta State University.  She was a longtime active member of Easthaven Baptist Church, where she directed the youth Sunday school for 31 years and assisted in the Wednesday night dinners.  Mrs. King retired from the Lincoln County School System after 31 years of teaching home economics.  She taught at Enterprise High School and Loyd Star High School.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved to cook for her family and others.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Hansel Wayne King, and her son Hansel Wayne King, Jr.

     Survivors are her daughter Louann King Aegerter and husband John Aegerter, two grandchildren John Hansel and Gabi, of Woodbridge, Va. and one brother Jim Jones of Brandon.

     Memorials may be made to Easthaven Baptist Church Missions Fund, Brookhaven; or to the Wayne King Scholarship Fund at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Wesson.
