Graveside services for Brevoort Butler “Bree” Ryan, of Wesson, are 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Ryan, 70, died Nov. 16, 2012, at his home.
He was a truck driver for 4W Farms of Meadville. He enjoyed building and running drag race cars, and watching NASCAR racing, New Orleans Saints and Ole Miss football, baseball and hockey.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bree and Clinton Webb Ryan; a sister, Jeanette R. Pritchard; and two nephews, David H. “Bubba Ryan” Ingle and Carl G. Pritchard.
Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Charline H. Ryan; daughters, Cynthia D. Ryan, of Crestview, Fla., Angela R. Odom, of Wesson, and Pamela J. “Jodi” Parker and husband, Jeff, of Wesson; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, William B. Ryan and wife, Mary Ann, of Converse, La., and Richard W. Ryan and wife, Ann, of Wesson.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 8081 Martinsville Road, Wesson, MS 39191.
