Funeral services for Callie W. Stroud, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, at Damascus Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

     Mrs. Stroud, 98, died Nov. 15, 2012, at her home. She was born in the Lucien community on Sept. 6, 1914, to George Livingston and Iva Nora Arnold Wilson.

     She was a retired seamstress with Stahl-Urban.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, F.T. “Pete” Stroud; and great-grandchild, Jacob Jay Smith.

     Survivors are her daughters, Patty Smith and Jean Waldon, both of Lucien; grandchildren, Tim and Dianne Waldon, Greg and Amy Waldon, Sharon and Dennis Allen, Terry “Bubba” and Martha Smith, Stephen and Lisa Smith and Mitchell and Cindy Smith; and great-grandchildren, Donnie Allen, Holli Smith, Thomas Waldon, Joshua Allen, Christopher Smith, Leah Waldon, Brody Smith, Carlye Waldon and Hayden Waldon.
