Funeral services for David William Brewer of Crystal Springs are 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Stringer Family Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal Springs with burial in Gallman Cemetery.

     Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Brewer, 60, died Dec. 3, 2012, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. He was born on Aug. 7, 1952.

     He was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Louise Barker Brewer; a son, Jason Brewer; and a sister, Denice Brewer Sanders.

      Survivors include his wife, Susan H. Brewer of Crystal Springs; his father, David H. Brewer, of Crystal Springs; his sons, Nathan Brewer, David Wayne Brewer and Michael James Brewer, all of Crystal Springs; a stepson, Daniel Beard of Florence; a stepdaughter, Susan Upton of Crystal Springs; a brother, Dennis Brewer and his wife, Tammie, of Brookhaven; his sisters, Linda Jones and her husband, Bo, of Terry, and Pam Johnson and her husband, Dennis, of Crystal Springs; grandchildren, Jaymison and Raven; step grandchildren, Kaitlyn Upton, Josh and Allison; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
