A private family service will be held for John H. Dickerson Jr. of Bogue Chitto.

     Mr. Dickerson, 65, died Dec. 3, 2012, at his residence. He was born on Dec. 10, 1946, in Mississippi to John H. Dickerson Sr. and Doris Bush Dickerson.

     He was a self-employed painter and of the Baptist faith.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David Dickerson.

     Survivors include his wife, Mary Dickerson; his son, Chris Dickerson and his wife, Jennifer; his daughter, Stacie McCullough and her husband, Brian; his brothers, James Dickerson, Robert Dickerson and David Dickerson; and four grandchildren, Ruby, Will and Haley McCullough and Hannah Dickerson.
