Funeral services for Jan Turner Howell of Jayess are 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial in Powell’s Grove Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Jayess.

     Visitation will be Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Howell, 62, died Dec. 5, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Mississippi on Dec. 13, 1949, to Pat Turner and Nellie Hedgepeth Turner.

     Mrs. Howell was a certified nursing assistant for King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was a member of Oak Grove Pentecostal Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; and a sister, Gloria Jean Turner.

     Survivors include her husband, Jerry Howell; her daughters, Lacey Brown of Brookhaven, Elizebeth Howell of Jayess, and Dana Wright of Montgomery, Ala.; her brothers, Charlie Turner of Jayess and Darrell Turner of Silver Creek; and three grandchildren, Ella Catherine Brown, Gage William Brown and Jeremy Phillips.
