Graveside services for Natille Lindsey Harvey, of Atlanta, Texas, are 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Harvey, 85, died Dec. 6, 2012, at an adult care facility in Atlanta, Texas. She was born in Louisville, Ky. on Nov. 3, 1927, to Alton and Lovie Pierce.
She was an English professor at Ouachita Baptist University, Howard Payne University and Mississippi State College for Women. She was the owner of Dolls and Dreams in Atlanta, Texas and was a member of First Baptist Church, Queen City, Texas.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and husbands, Henry Carlton Lindsey and Jobe Harvey.
Survivors are her sons, John Lindsey and wife, Lauren, of DeQueen, Ark., and Mark Lindsey and wife, Sherry, of Big Spring, Texas; daughter, Denise Peek and husband, Willard, of Atlanta, Texas; brothers, James Pierce and wife, Bettye, of Madison, and William Pierce and wife, Marcy, of Chino Valley, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
