BHS girls kick N. Pike

North Pike defeated the Brookhaven Lady Panthers 5-2 Friday night on King Field.  The Lady Panthers are 5-5 on the season.

     BHS goals came from Andie Netherland and Waverli Culver off deflections.

     Shelby Case worked as goalkeeper and made 9 saves.

     In the boys game, BHS shut out North Pike 3-0. Goalie Andrew Culver directed the defense.

     Scoring for the Pantthers  (6-4) was forward Quin Cooper with 2 goals. Anthony Daniels scored once.

     In JV action, the Lady Panthers posted a 2-1 victory. Elaina Madison and Danusharaw Lewis.

     The JV Panthers lost 4-0 to North Pike.

     Ole Brook hosts Franklin County Tuesday for four games. The JV girls start at 4 p.m., followed by the JV boys. The varsity girls play at 6 p.m., followed by the boys at 7:30.

BHS Tops Cathedral

     The Lady Panthers shaved Natchez Cathedral 2-1 at Natchez. Netherland and Taylor Murray each had 1 goal in the win.

     The Panthers prevailed 5-3, led by Houston Case’s 2 goals. Cooper, Mac Meyer and Taylor Peets also scored for BHS.
